Rachael Eisenson suffers from Familial Dysautonomia, a rare genetic disease which disturbs cells in the autonomic nervous system and makes it difficult her to breathe, regulate blood pressure and body temperature, produce tears, and digest food. After numerous doctors appointments, treatments, and a kidney transplant, Rachael and her family continue to struggle with her disease.
