Shira Stoll is a visual journalist from Patchogue, New York. She currently is a Multimedia Specialist at the Staten Island Advance. Shira also is a Master's degree candidate at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. In May 2015, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Photo Illustration, also from Syracuse University. Her past experience includes internships at Discovery Communications in Silver Spring, M.D., Madrid Guidepost Magazine in Madrid, Spain, & NBC Universal in Los Angeles, C.A.
 

Shira's work has been featured in The New York Times Lens Blog, The New York Daily News, Thrillist, Narrative.ly, BrightestYoungThings.com, and The Long Island Advance, among others. She also was a student at the Eddie Adams Workshop XXVIII in October 2015.
