Shira Stoll is a regional Emmy and Murrow award winning video producer and journalist on the Special Projects + Streaming unit at NBC10 Boston working on long form narratives and investigative stories. Stoll wears many hats as a producer, videographer, video editor, still photographer and writer. She is based in Boston, Massachusetts.

Stoll was previously a staff multimedia specialist at the Staten Island Advance working on short documentaries, news videos and photo stories. She spent two years sharing the stories of Holocaust survivors on Staten Island and using that work to teach the Holocaust to students in NYC Public Schools.

She holds both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She also was a student at the Eddie Adams Workshop XXVIII.

Stoll has received four regional Emmy awards with 10 additional nominations and two regional Edward R. Murrow awards for her documentary, investigative and video work.

Stoll grew up in Patchogue, NY and has strong opinions about Boston’s pizza and bagels. When not working, you’ll probably find her hiking up a mountain, practicing yoga or at a live music show.
