Shira Stoll is a regional Emmy and Murrow award winning video producer, cinematographer, editor and journalist. In February 2026, she launched her own production company, Shira Stoll Productions, LLC, focused on corporate storytelling with documentary style. She is based in NYC and Long Island. Stoll wears many hats as a producer, videographer, video editor, still photographer and writer.

Stoll was previously a staff Senior Video Producer at Fidelity Investments and a freelance journalist and documentary filmmaker in the Boston area. Prior to Fidelity, she was on the Special Projects + Streaming unit at NBC10 Boston for five years working on long form narratives and investigative stories. Before moving to Boston, she was a staff multimedia specialist for nearly three years at the Staten Island Advance working on short documentaries, news videos, written and photo stories. She spent two of those years sharing the stories of Holocaust survivors on Staten Island and using that work to teach the Holocaust to students in NYC Public Schools (which is still used today).

She holds both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She also was a student at the Eddie Adams Workshop XXVIII.

Stoll has received 7 regional Emmy awards and 4 New England Edward R. Murrow awards for her documentary, investigative and video work. She also received the 2023 photography merit award by the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association, among other recognitions.

When not working, you’ll probably find her hiking up a mountain, practicing yoga or at a live music show.
