Shira Stoll is an Emmy-nominated visual journalist from Patchogue, New York. She currently is a Multimedia Specialist at the Staten Island Advance and a Master's degree candidate at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. In May 2015, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Photo Illustration, also from Newhouse. Previously, Shira interned Discovery Communications in Silver Spring, M.D., Madrid Guidepost Magazine in Madrid, Spain, & NBC Universal in Los Angeles, C.A.

She was a student at the Eddie Adams Workshop XXVIII and her work has been featured in the New York Daily News, Thrillist, New York Times Lens Blog,,, the Long Island Advance, among others.
